Poison game. Both sides are poor. Quins are utterly wasteful. They've been in the Castres 22 about a half dozen times and turned over unforced each time through knock ons, interceptions etc. Castres are defending well and not shirking their duties but they don't look dangerous and their line out is awful.

Phew! Never in doubt :D

I thought Care would want to have a good game!

I think someone mentioned the quins props earlier. We currently have Marler (ex-academy), Sinckler and Collier (younger than Joe, also both ex-academy). I don't think we've ever replaced Rossy or Johnson (who went to Sarries a few seasons ago) and the young 'uns all have promise, just not the experience yet.

The game today is how we're playing all season, a bit scrappy, a bit low in confidence, but a few moments of magic.

Positives to take: hopefully we'll win and you need to win your home games
George Lowe continues his come back from injury and looked good tonight
Brown back to playing well
Scrum pretty good

Stuff to work on for sure, but we'll take the win (hopefully) and move on to the pests next week.

Probably the best result as far as Leinster are concerned. 4-0 to quins. Maybe Castres will lose interest now. We beat wasps, wasps beat quins and we beat castres. Possible 6 pts clear after 2 rounds.
Hows that for positivity?
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Castes did not look like a danger, but strong enough in defense. Great 2nd kick by Evans for the try. Quins were never going to run thru them.

An 8 point win with no try would of been the best result but any result with no BP is a good one for us.

If Wasps beat Quins next week and we win our opening games, we are in a brilliant position to top the pool.

Glad that Castres leave empty handed. Notable that Kockott went off injured also and told BT that he's had a niggle for the last couple of weeks that has prevented him from playing.
