Next game Leinster v Barbarians

Post by All Blacks nil »

Madigan should cement his claim on the RWC15 back up outhalf position in a game that should suit his strengths. Outstanding v Edinburgh on Saturday in what was a crucial game for Connacht, he delivered the goods from his natural position.
A similar performance in Thomond Park and he would be a viable option to a more conservative Jonny Sexton for both the RWC and Leinster next season.

Hopefully they enter through the right entrance of Thomond Park, don't want to lose the psychological edge or the match could be over before kick off.

I think Glasgow will beat Ulster, so Ulster players starting on the bench in that game should be available.

Really happy to see Kelleher and O'Shea in the squad. Don't think they'll play but it's a definite sign of encouragement from Joe and they'll be learning the systems in place to be a full international.

I think its great to see Ben Marshall in there as well as being included with the Emerging Ireland squad. It seemed he was on his way out of Leinster while MOC was there but hopefully his selection by Joe will ensure he is not grabbed by Munster in the way Jordan Couglan apparently has been.
Rugby is a good occasion for keeping thirty bullies far from the centre of the city.

Or it could mean that he will be sent to Munster by Joe the way Jordan Coughlan was.

That's a fabulous signing by them. I really rate him, pity MOC/Leo didn't.

Is he not a bit injury prone?

Marshall is the real deal but didn't get a run due to injuries and MOC not bringing players through. Think it's a great signing for Connacht, when he's played for us he's delivered - he was outstanding in the Dragons game and thought he did really well against Toulon. Hopefully a year or two with Connacht will help him build towards Ireland - the Irish coaching set up obviously rate him!
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us
