We look a little bit lost when we get into the red zone. It's been a problem for years now.

Great win, good team lifter, especially for the young lads (who all looked great). on a side note, why is it always the minute Denton comes on, that Leinster start playing s**te; we started losing line-outs, are scrum turns to muck and we start losing triple the meters on defense. This guy has GOT to go...

That is absolute nonsense, bordering on pure confirmation bias.
On his first throw, Cronin hit a Bath man, and Moore, McGrath and Cronin all came on at the same time as him.

He's a limited player, but blaming one player for 'losing triple metres on defence', particularly when it's a second row, is nonsense.

Luke McG had his best game and Ringrose just looks better and better every time he plays. Hats off to Dooley, Treacy, Furlong and Moloney all of whom were absolutely special today.

That was satisfying in almost every way.
What an encouraging game and win.
Well done to the players of course but serious kudos to Leo and team for trusting the young talent and preparing them for the game so well.

Hear! Hear! Well done to all involved!! Interesting to see Kurt McQuilkin laying down the law to the team at half time in the changing room. As ever this season our defence was impressive. Our scrums disimproved however after Mike Mac was replaced by Denton. And as for Cronin's darts... Any chance we might get a skills coach to replace Richie Murphy?

A win win.
We get the win and a few of our youngsters got great experience against decent European opposition.
Leo took a calculated risk and it paid off.
Luke McGrath is establishing himself as first choice 9.
Joe should have him on his bench for the 6Ns.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.

Sounds like it was a fantastic performance from all the team. From the kids to the vets, it's wonderful to hear they all stepped up a level. Very encouraging for our matches during the Six Nations. Leo and his team could actually be up to the job. Delighted.
The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

Wow I really totally enjoyed that

I tried hard to see the flaws in Treacys game pointed out here but he looked damn good to me tonight ?

The pack were well drilled aggressive and set pieces were more than solid . All the euro debutants performed well and Ringrose caught the eye in attack and defence even after a heavy late dunt in the second half

While it was not an error free performance the coaching team deserve great credit for having the courage to back this selection

An honour and a privilege to see those young men (and Mike and Eoin) warriors all.

Nothing much in it for Bath really, buy we needed to salvage some pride and huge props to Leo for having the nerve to pick that team to do that job while still focusing on the main target for us this season.

As predicted before the season began, the way it fell, we should target the league. I really think we should win it. Hopefully give Europe a proper lash next year with the likes of Ringrose, vdf, and Molony hardened.

Miss Teo though...

Today's game was the start of something great, but could not help feeling like We am going to miss Madigan..... A lot.

To play a quick, high tempo game, he is the man.

Really? I thought he was our poorest player today.

Off the top of my head he: threw a pass to nobody in our own half in the first few minutes, threw an intercept in their 22, kicked out on the full, kicked a restart short of 10m and missed a kickable penalty.

Can't really remember the last time he had a stellar game for us.

Funnily enough, I felt the exact opposite (other than his place kicking, which we'll certainly miss).

He was all over the shop, probably our worst player on the pitch.
Did some great stuff as usual, but as usual, some really bad, brainless stuff too.
