Ah I feckin knew this guy was gonna be involved somewhere. We're doomed.......doomed I tells ya'
My thoughts exactly... Whats the betting he'll have a negative impact on Leinster in some way during the game... whether its in scoring of a try or a YC or something...
Also... how come as head of The Connacht referees , that he's allowed be on the line for this game ??... Im sure a reverse situation wouldnt be allowed if game was in Leinster...

I thought Peter Fitzgibbon has left Connacht Ref branch and is back with Munster branch, could be wrong?
Sean Gallagher has been appointed as Referee Development Officer for Connacht by the IRFU and is replacing Peter Fitzgibbon, who will be staying around for a few months to integrate Sean into his new role. I wish to personally thank Peter for the fantastic job that he has done for the ARCB over the last few years.
Anyway, back to the match- Heenan V DvF is gonna be juicy
I'm bit surprised Lam went with Niyi over Poolman considering the weather conditions
I've no worries about Peter Robb at 12- the lad is a huge talent
Thought McKeon might start at 8 letting Muldoon go back to his favoured 6 poisition.
Muldoon is fine at 8 when our scrum is dominate
Rodney Ah You (who I have defended alot online over the years) is rightly not in the squad following his shambles in Murrayfield
Caolin Blade keeping bench spot over the fit again John Cooney is tad eyebrow raising- but Blade has done well so maybe is reward for his form

It is a very very strong Leinster bench- cannot wait for kick off

That's a real good selection - team (bar second row) and bench - and it is easy to fancy a win for us away.

Match Preview

Games in hands are annoying things that aren't often seen in rugby. They annoy sports fans because you constantly need to reference them - "They're three points behind but have a game in hand". This season has seen a plague of them in the Pro12 caused by both the weather and other events. However they're even more annoying when you don't win the game in hand as Leinster failed to do last week. Leinster started brightly and an injury disrupted Glasgow looked there for the taking but an error-strewn second half from Leinster saw them leave with only a losing bonus point. It means Leinster remain a point behind leaders Connacht going into this weekend's top of the table clash in Galway.

TG4 player rarely if ever works for me. I'd try myp2p, stream2watch or cricfree and see if there's a stream of the sky broadcast up there.

Yeah, it's a sad state of affairs that I usually have to use illegal streaming services to watch games as the national, tax payer funded websites can't get a stream to work but some 15 year old kid in Ohio has a site showing every sporting event being televised globally.

Luckily though I'll be at this one, should be an amazing atmosphere, biggest Leinster v Connacht game ever and would I be correct in saying the first time Connacht have ever sold out a league game? Very excited. I think on paper our first XV is marginally stronger and that our bench is considerably stronger, hopefully that will make the difference.

Any estimates on how much Leinster support will be travelling? Also any suggestions on pubs around eyre square / shop street that are good for rugby crowds? Never been to sportsground before or Galway on a rugby weekend.

So you don't remember Alain Rolland reffing Leinster v Munster in Lansdowne Road in 2014?

Most of the IP maskers are hit and miss. Download Mobdro app direct from their website, instructions on the site.

Grand for TG4 from UK...
Loads of other streams too.

Is TG4 geo-locked though? I never have any trouble streaming the games from France without using any VPNs or suchlike.
