A great player for us and I wish him well. Was totally shafted by Kidney for Ireland, but performed to a consistently high level for us.
He seemed to still be playing at a high level; that, plus the fact that it leaves us potentially thin in another halfback position, is a bit frustrating.
The timing of the announcement is also a bit odd; a pity he couldn't get a farewell from Leinster. I thought he was supposed to go into analysis for us...not 'aviation finance'?

Best of luck to Eoin Reddan with his future. He will be missed hugely next season by Leinster.

He was a huge part of Leinster's best performances at our peak. He drove the tempo that made us so hard to defend against and formed a great partnership with Sexton. Being able to alternate between himself and Isaac Boss was key. He was phenomenal in the second-half of the HEC Final in 2011.

Thanks for the memories Redser and best of luck in your new career.

One of the main reasons for our last 2 HCs. Thanks for everything Eoin and all the best.

Gutted.....
But if he ha$ the opportunity to get into a company £ike GECAS (not suggesting that is where he is going to), then he i$ €orre€t to £eave. Great $cope for €areer development.

Thank you so much Eoin, the heartbeat of the team. One of you leaving was bad enough, but I think I may have to take the rest of the day off after this news.
We would have been a better team next season with you. Will always have fond memories of the reintroduction of your sniping tries under MOC's first season- Joe took them away from us!
So much appreciation for (as JohnG of this parish oft described) your ability to teleport from ruck to ruck.
Best scrum half Leinster have ever had, thank you, even though you spell your name the wrong.

Was this always the plan? I'm a little shocked to lose him this year. A real shame.

He will be missed.

He was undecided at the end of the season, hence no tribute at end of year bash.

I read on PR that he hadn't made up his mind until recently. If so then you'd wonder what Leinster were planning for next season.

I always felt tired watching him, he just never stopped going and would be able to tap and go when all around him were dead on their feet. A key part of what might turn out to be the best Leinster side I ever see. Wish him all the best!

My guess is they were planning for him to be third choice

Either way, he was a great player for us

3 HCs, 2 Pro 12s, A Premiership, A Challenge Cup in his club career.
70 Ireland caps and two Six Nations Championships.
Not bad for a Munster cast off

Thanks for everything Redser!

A brilliant player for Leinster & Ireland,as well as being a genuinely nice guy, who often didn't get the credit he deserved, due to who was receiving his passes but it was Eoin quickness of hand that often started a magician move..
Was awesome in the Cardiff Comeback
Thanks Eoin & best wishes in your future career.

Great servant. best of luck!

Huge loss of brainpower and leadership. Seems such a waste to not be availing of him and darce somewhere, but best of luck to him.
