Jack Conan is a feckin warrior. Hasn't stopped all night.

Ross Byrne playing ok, but jaysus he's straying a long way behind the gainline.

Nah man, that's nonsense. He knows the onus is on him to protect man in the air. Didn't even jump, just tackled him before he had even got to full height. Stupidity.
The man in the air he wouldn't have known was there because he was looking at the ball until a millisecond before. Players jumping in the air directly in front of incoming players know the risks.
Bollix! He looked at the man and then hit him in the air. Red it had to be.

No yellow warning for scarlets here?

GAME ON!

That was lovely from Byrne.

I wonder if we had McGrath starting would this game be different?

Not sure about the grounding there. That said it's the kind I would suggest refs give (see also NZ scoring last week).

Bad option and execution of the kick from Byrne.

Adam Byrne is some man for taking crossfield kicks. Pity the next one was blocked. Another referee could have penalised the Scarlets player for an intentional knock on

Ross Byrne is the opposite of Carbury. He never seems to have any time on the ball. He constantly looks rushed. A good player who will improve with games, but poor tonight. I hope he takes lessons from it.

Ah I think that's really harsh tbh.
Basing a lot on a blocked kick it sounds like. He's no Carbery, but he's done pretty well overall.

Tackling someone in the air isn't an automatic red.
