Jack Conan is a feckin warrior. Hasn't stopped all night.
Ross Byrne playing ok, but jaysus he's straying a long way behind the gainline.

Bollix! He looked at the man and then hit him in the air. Red it had to be.FLIP wrote:The man in the air he wouldn't have known was there because he was looking at the ball until a millisecond before. Didn't even jump, just tackled him before he had even got to full height. Stupidity.FLIP wrote:Yet another stupid casualty of this stupid rule. No yellow warning for scarlets here?
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

GAME ON!
That was lovely from Byrne.
I wonder if we had McGrath starting would this game be different?

Not sure about the grounding there. That said it's the kind I would suggest refs give (see also NZ scoring last week).

Bad option and execution of the kick from Byrne.

Adam Byrne is some man for taking crossfield kicks. Pity the next one was blocked. Another referee could have penalised the Scarlets player for an intentional knock on
Re: Scarlets v Leinster Friday 25/11 k.o. 19:35
R Byrne kick for touch dreadful
Re: Scarlets v Leinster Friday 25/11 k.o. 19:35
Ross Byrne is the opposite of Carbury. He never seems to have any time on the ball. He constantly looks rushed. A good player who will improve with games, but poor tonight. I hope he takes lessons from it.

Ah I think that's really harsh tbh.Stuka wrote:Ross Byrne is the opposite of Carbury. He never seems to have any time on the ball. He constantly looks rushed. A good player who will improve with games, but poor tonight. I hope he takes lessons from it.
Basing a lot on a blocked kick it sounds like. He's no Carbery, but he's done pretty well overall.

Tackling someone in the air isn't an automatic red.
