When did we play them last at RDS? was it the 30 - nil with John Hayes red card?johng wrote:Keith Earls is the only current member of Munster's squad to have played in the RDS
Never argue with an idiot. Someone looking on may not be able tell the difference

Re: Leinster v Munster 2018 Pro14 S/F 19th May RDS
And we caused a storm on the Munster fans forum with them calling us football fans for shouting "Easy Easy Easy" towards the end. We actually were shouting "Isa, Isa, Isa" , but the southern brethren could tell with our accents!!! Its funny but after all these years we will again be shouting "Isa, Isa, Isa" this saturday.TrapperChamonix wrote:When did we play them last at RDS? was it the 30 - nil with John Hayes red card?johng wrote:Keith Earls is the only current member of Munster's squad to have played in the RDS

John Hayes stamped on Felipe? I cant remember, I was right in front of it on the grand stand side - a maul on the touchline - can anyone remember?

No it was Cian Healy - Felipe didn't play that matchglenageary wrote:John Hayes stamped on Felipe? I cant remember, I was right in front of it on the grand stand side - a maul on the touchline - can anyone remember?

Cian would be pleased though to be mistaken for the handsome Argentinian.

Of course he had - I forgot that bit (or more likely I blocked it out to help me cope with the loss!!!)blockhead wrote:DoctorPhil had left Leinster by then no?Xanthippe wrote:No it was Cian Healy - Felipe didn't play that matchglenageary wrote:John Hayes stamped on Felipe? Last game vs. them at the RDS was the 16-6 Magners' League semi-final win in 2010.

Having regard to our recent exploits and the toll they take, both mentally and physically, we could reasonably expect to lose this. Currently Munster are so bad that I expect us to win and if we put out the team suggested above that should be good enough.

One of my favourite RDS moment goes back to 31/12/2005 when Dr Phil, completing an absolute masterclass, by chipped through to score the winning try against Munster.blockhead wrote:DoctorPhil had left Leinster by then no?Xanthippe wrote:No it was Cian Healy - Felipe didn't play that matchglenageary wrote:John Hayes stamped on Felipe? It was also my first encounter with the nastier bitter side of Munster fans.. jaysus they were sick after it!

Good article on Leinster Munster rivalry up to 2007
It all changed after Croke Park 2009 (of course my all time favourite Leinster Munster game, surpassed only by the great 2011 Cardiff comeback in Leinster greatest ever games)

For me it was the game he trails in that article - down to Musgrave on a stinky old night and we beat them at their own game.

The 29-28 against the same opposition in the HEC quarter finals is also a particular favourite (but all off the ones mentioned are special).the spoofer wrote:My favourite Leinster game was the win over Clermont in Bordeaux.Scooby Shaggy Swerve wrote:https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/health ... y-1.985388

Ah yes were are such hooligans that day. Good old GT said the home fans booed Peter Stringer as he ran on for O'Leary while we were actually chanting Luuukkkkkkeeeeeee who was getting up from a knock.

Seen on twitter...
Many years ago, on the old Leinster messageboard, the great Hooker Larkin described the Munster backline's handling ability as 'juggling turnips'. A nickname for the ages was born and it begat many variants. We now have a rival!
