Match Preview

Leinster were on fire last weekend as they demolished Wasps in style running in eight tries in front of a giddy RDS crowd.

The first half was a touch scrappy but Leinster did their now classic trick of scoring just before and after half time and from then on they were cruising as Wasps capitulated. Admittedly Wasps were missing some key men but there was still enough quality on the pitch to put up a better fight than that. However despite all the garlands thrown their way, Leo Cullen was quick to downplay expectations and focus on what his team needed to improve on ahead of Sunday's visit to Toulouse, a place Leinster have only won once in five attempts.

The draw between Wasps and Bath is a good result for us ahead of our encounter with Toulouse. Hopefully, we can get a win there tomorrow.

As perverse as this may sound, I would be quite happy for Toulouse to get a 2 bonus point loss against us today so that they feel like they are still in the fight for the next 3 round of fixtures.

Very interested to see how Tomane goes today.

He should be well used to the way Toulouse approach the game, but I'd imagine he will be put under pressure.

Hopefully we can get himself and Lowe running at their centres, could be hay to be made there I think.

How did Wayne Barnes not feature more in the pre-game chat.

We've been terrible in loads of ways but jesus the offsides are a joke and Toulouse are constantly taking the space at the ruck.

Cricfree has good links. Bad start. Toulouse defensive line wildly offside regularly.

All a bit scrappy from us - in a real game here - need to step in up 2nd half.

Stop forcing things and stop missing tackles and we'll be laughing. Really need to have a word with Barnes about the offsides. Luke needs to speed up his passing but they're constantly offside in midfield.

I was a bit worried when Lowe didn't just clear the ball from the kick off, no idea why we're so gung ho. Tomane has been awful apart from the charge down at the end. The try was great but hadn't noticed Conan at all before that.
