If that quarantine is still in place in August, you can forget about the planned knockout games anyway. Although that would be on the lower side of my worries: a big chunk of the economy will be in a very difficult situation. You might have to fully renationalise the airports and Aer Lingus!

Leinster legends Rob Kearney and Fergus McFadden will be given a chance to go out on a high having extended their contracts to complete the season.

Nothing high about an exit behind closed doors. Leinster should have done better especially for Kearney who arguable did more for Leinster rugby than any other player. Leinster have never shown enough respect for his rugby brain and firing him away when Larmour has so much to learn is so wrong. A one year contract to give him a chance to exit in a proper environment would have been far more fitting. For all he has achieved in the game he was deserving of an exit in green. We should be ashamed if the way we treat our legends.

If he gets offered a multi year deal he should go. He owes us nothing and the IRFU even less after the farce of the last world cup.

Leinster have gone out on a limb to select leaving players over the years. McGrath and SOB were selected in the HC Final when form favoured Byrne.

2 players have been given contract extensions to let them finish on their terms on the pitch.

That smacks of contract negotiation - he has just built a new house and his wife is pregnant so can't see him leaving. I think after what Leo Cullen said about him - he will push for a Leinster contract.

So does Kearney and he's far more deserving as our only world class FB but it's not their decision to make unfortunately. Toner is lucky that Leo Cullen is more likely to fight for him given the previous remarks he made about him.

Nice compilation of ROL's tries from LR - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcrqveRblUU

Looking forward to seeing him get back fit, could be a very useful player for us.

Is he your grandson or something? He's one of the last players I'd feel sorry for. He has made a boat load of money, won piles of trophies, and he got to play until he was 34 as a back three. He has a lot to be proud of, and he deserves every bit of what he has achieved, but he doesn't need our pity. So you can shag off with your "we should be ashamed" nonsense.

Amazing how when it comes to Kearney you believe someone has to be related to him to value him. Why don't you say the same thing to the poster who's saying Devin Toner should get a contract?

In depth article on Salanoa. He was happy in Leinster, well settled and they dont think he will play more rugby inMunster in the next 2 years. You wonder what the benefit of moving is...

It will look all the more bizarre when Munster barely play him next season.

Sounds like Liddy has a lot of influence and he is a huge munster fan, so he made sure he went to his team.

They already are lowering expectations on that front. They said they want him because Munster have props in their 30s and he will get his chance in about 2 years.

I guess it’s less controversial to move him now rather than let him break through in Leinster or risk him changing his mind.
