Impressive performance this, a few guys really standing up. Murphy, Leavy, Deegan and Cronin playing well. Impressed with JOB at 15 too. Tomane has been good in parts but has a brain fart habit.

Loved most of that first half. Great energy and some lovely play out wide, a nice antidote to the drab stuff we saw from Ireland.
Leavy looks great and Rhys has been excellent, Deegan very good too. Josh looks really comfortable in the second row, poor penalty to give away though.
Luke looked really sharp until that awful mistake. His defence has been immense, stopped Mata dead after he ran over Cronin.
JOB has been brilliant, really really impressed with him.
Luke Fitz tearing into Tomane at HT. Actually thought he started quite well and he looks way more mobile to me, think he's spent the last month testing out his hamstrings with sprints and agility work, but he really does make some very poor mistakes, and not ones that can be blamed on his lack of games or the musical chairs in midfield.

Really like how aggressive we are on their lineout and when they try to set the maul.

Looks like Bent has been tasked to look after Bill Mata - he's taken care of him a few times

I wonder how much the scrum trouble is due to power coming thru from Murphy at lock

Well I thought that was a good steal from Leavy and that Luke held that try up!

Very poor call there from Whitehouse, not a pen, nevermind a yellow and it has led to a try.

Jesus, penalty and yellow card for Leavy from what should have been a penalty to Leinster. Then a try that I’m not convinced was even grounded from that penalty.

Thought he was really good in the first half (apart from the poor dropped ball) and looked very mobile.Dave Cahill wrote:Looks like Bent has been tasked to look after Bill Mata - he's taken care of him a few times

Harshest yellow card. Ref had warned against playing the 9 but not a general 'next penalty is yellow' warning.
Compare that to the yellow for Edinburgh player flinging Reid upside down and ending his night early.

Jesus ref is killing us.
Re: Edinburgh Away, 22/03, 7.35pm
Yeah, thought the yellow was pretty rash from Whitehouse assuming it was a penalty for Edinburgh. How many penalties did we actually concede in our 22?Laighin Break wrote:Harshest yellow card. Ref had warned against playing the 9 but not a general 'next penalty is yellow' warning.
