Again stunning production line from within Leinster’s own borders and especially the schools. Saves Leinster and Irish rugby a fortune having them developed to such a high level.

The whole model crashes and burns if there is ever a disconnect between Leinster Rugby and the independently run schools. Health and safety the fault line. Zero tolerance culture is paramount. We have already had one case of a pupil suing a school (Michael’s) & hospital for brain injury. That happened just before the head injury issue became a thing in households across te country. The fallout would be catastrophic if a similar case ran again now.

We do. There are two academy hookers. One isn't being used.

It's not even fair sport with the type of bait you're using.

True but picking two hookers with one cap between them has it's own problems. Has Sheehan even been training with the squad?

It’s not mildly’s fault. It’s Leocaster who pick the team. Disappointed we didn’t get to double figures. 9 is a tease.

There‘s a balance between keeping warm and risking a random knock. Byrne probably needs the game time. He has 24 minutes in the last month, that’s a bigger issue.

I thought Cronin was still possible for the final anyway.

I agree theres a balance, which is why I think its probably a fair enough risk to take, it's a risk all the same.

hopefully it means Cronin's injury isn't as bad as feared.

When Ryan Baird comes off the bench today he will be the 57th player capped this year and the 16th from Michael’s.

What have Leocaster got against Harry Byrne?!

Safe trip up for anyone attending, weather a bit cr@p in Belfast according to reports so give yourself a bit of extra time also it tends to get a bit busy round Belfast at that time of evening on Saturdays as shoppers head home.

Ferg you lucky boy...

Connors looks great. Said it before and I'll say it again, he's Van der Flier with less power and better hands.

Jack looks more like his old self, I'd be very tempted to include him against Saracens now.

Noel having another brilliant game, two brilliant passes from him to set up Ferg's try. Nick McCarthy playing really well too IMO, will never understand why he's so underrated and hope he makes a name for himself at Munster.

Josh Murphy having a poor game. Poor handling and a few missed tackles.

The back row started well but have gone quiet. Glad we got that second try because I reckon playing into the wind suited us and we hadn't made the most of it by blowing the chances with JOB and DK. Both tries were superb.

If good doggie made a pass like bad doggie did for the O'Brien try they'd move him from Munster just so they could reward him by moving him back to Munster

Just thinking, most people seem to think this is Nick's last game for us because of the Champions Cup but I wonder if he might come back in for the Pro14 semi? No reason why not and his performance today puts him in the mix IMO.

He reminds me of Jennings! Great half from him - a somewhat forgotten prospect

Really impressive considering his lack of rugby. He did look off the pace a few weeks back but has obviously worked really hard.
