Chinese knock off sites sell real fakes of products because they make the real ones too. Chinese workers' rights is a concern for sure, but just what consumer good can you buy if you don't buy based on that?brotheroffrank wrote: interesting reference to an aspect of the Chinese Civil War that took place in October 1934 – October 1935....particularly with it being the week of the 30th anniversary of Tiananmen Square....http://www.oxfam.org.au/what-we-do/work ... -2/adidas/ might be more current....
Once the files and specs are sent to China factories bid to make the stuff, and you can then go online yourself if you wanted a container full of Leinster jerseys to flog. Here's an Indian factory offering to make Leinster jerseys -

No pics there, but if you had a real scale order there are options.

Exactly the sort of stuff Donald Trump is trying to stop.
The Chinese have very flexible consciences about this kind of thing.

Generally what you get from the chinese black market is stuff that has either been failed by the customer over quality control failures or stuff thats run off "after dark" where theres no QC at all. So you get stuff like in the image on the first site above ("Leister Rugby") or with the wrong pattern on the shirt, or incorrect detailing (like the stitched logo) often made with inferior materials. Its cheap and cheerful and sometimes it can be decent enough (someone got me a Stade Francais jersey a couple of years ago for my birthday that was indistinguishable from the real one I already had), but its a risky purchase.fourthirtythree wrote: Chinese knock off sites sell real fakes of products because they make the real ones too. And, of course, its taking money out of Leinster's pocket.

Is the knock off one allowed in the Rec?
Re: Lifestyle Sports
New European (and away) jerseys out next Wednesday. That was a short lifespan for the last one! Might explain the shortage.

Called itjimbobjoe wrote:That's annoying. If the deal isn't renewed (I hope it isn't) we'll probably get a single season set of shirts to rinse the fans even more.nc6000 wrote:Five years apparently.jimbobjoe wrote:What was the length of deal signed with Adidas?
On the topic of rinsing fans - I wouldn't be surprised to see some new training gear or a new european shirt before next season.
