Thanks for the update.

Barry Daly is a member of the senior squad. Also the injured Mark Hernan (U20) has been left out again.

No sign of Rob Gilsenan or John Fish for UCD U20s jn recent weeks.. Good to see Tom Maher, Niall Comerford and Josh O'Connor in their backline though.

Rugbypass were including players who will be 23 or under on May 1 this year. Using that criterion a few others are eligible.

The strongest XV right now might look something like:

1. Michael Milne (21)
2. Ronan Kelleher (22)
3. Jack Aungier (21)
4. James Ryan (23, born July 24, 1996)
5. Ryan Baird (20)
6. Oisín Dowling (22)
7. Scott Penny (20)
8. Caelan Doris (22)
9. Rowan Osborne (23, born November 3, 1996)
10. Harry Byrne (20)
11. Jordan Larmour (22)
12. Tommy O'Brien (22)
13. Jimmy O'Brien (23, born November 27, 1996)
14. Hugo Keenan (23, born June 18, 1996)
15. Ciarán Frawley (22)

Aungier and Dowling aren't the best prospects at those poisitons who fit that criteria.

1. Milne
2. Kelleher
3. Clarkson
4. Baird
5. J Ryan
6. Deegan
7. Penny
8. Doris
9. Osborne
10. Byrne
11. T O'Brien
12. Frawley
13. J O'Brien
14. Keenan
15. Larmour

Well, I did say strongest XV "right now", like if there was a game at the weekend sort of thing. Clarkson is a better prospect than Aungier, true enough. Think I'd take Dowling over Deegan as a blindside to be honest. I don't think 6 suits Deegan at all.

Ryan Bailey is a very enthusiastic and positive guy, Ben is a good young player, his dad is a senior IRFU employee well known across the country and we're all in the mood for a good news story!

think its a poor look, rather players from more smaller clubs got such spotlight and not the son of a irfu coach.

I think the family angle is great. And always makes for some nice feel good reading.
