Very surprised that Soroka is on the bench but I suppose it is only a warm up game and you have to give other people a chance, I wonder who will be captain since Jack Barry is on the bench it’ll be interesting to see.

To be fair, they were playing against Gloucester academy who are like much older and twice the size of this Leinster u19s team, due to English players developing bigger at a younger age, the Leinster management make Leinster underage/ development teams play against bigger and mature teams to improve the development of the players , I wouldn’t be too concerned as I feel that u19 year group can go on to achieve massive things at Ireland u20 level

Gloucester side was u19 though as well and not just an academy side

Well then that Gloucester pack is massive for an u19 side, disappointing result but hopefully we can improve towards the inter pros, I saw a picture of Chris Cosgrave playing 10 in a picture towards the end of game on the Gloucester rugby academy Twitter page and a picture of Justin Leonard playing 12, great the way we have so much versatility in our backline

In preparation for the Celtic Cup, an Ulster U20 / Development team will play two challenge games versus Leinster. The first game will be hosted at Malone RFC on Friday 9th August (5.00pm), followed by a reverse fixture at Energia Park, Donnybrook on Friday 16th August (5.00pm).

How is Mark Boyle progressing mildly? Am i correct in saying he is still in school (6th year) this year or is he finished now?

he is finished afaik, seems to be going well, be interesting to see how much he features during interpros.
