Will Connors, Dave Kearney and Luke McGrath from the group above are still in camp with Ireland.wixfjord wrote:Assuming we get a few back who aren't in Irish plans, I'd go for something like:
Dooley, Tracy, Bent, Fardy, Molony, Murphy, Connors, Ruddock, JGP, Frawley, Lowe, Tomane, JOB, DK, RK
Milne, Cronin, Aungier/Salanoa, Baird, Penny, McGrath, HB, Ferg

Just finished watching the Ulster highlights.
Ospreys could prove to be a difficult opposition.
Their forwards handled the conditions really well.
It was Ulster's handling skills that kept them in the game.

Really nice looking backline, could do some damage if we get ball.
Good to see Dunne back.

Re: Ospreys Away, 21st of Feb
Interestingly that's the exact same Ospreys 23 that went up against Ulster with only an enforced (i think) change at 8.
Re: Ospreys Away, 21st of Feb
This could be tight. On paper that Ospreys side isn't bad. Backrow battle will be very interesting.
Re: Ospreys Away, 21st of Feb
Very similar team to the one that beat Glasgow away in one of my favorite performances of the season with 10 of the 15 starters. Missing the experience of Dev and Ross Byrne from that night but have added Fardy and Lowe to the mix.

Leinster 14 point favourites for this one.
Pretty accurate I reckon

Also very similar to the team that beat Zebre 3-0 earlier in the season.....OTT wrote:Very similar team to the one that beat Glasgow away in one of my favorite performances of the season with 10 of the 15 starters. Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014
Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

I would take 3-0

Other than Cronin, our least experienced bench for many years with 6 players in single figures.
Re: Ospreys Away, 21st of Feb
I'm not sure about Ryan Baird covering the backrow. We look very thin there, and it's an area where Ospreys are especially strong

He doesn't, He's there to cover Fardy, who covers back-row.Twist wrote:I'm not sure about Ryan Baird covering the backrow. We look very thin there, and it's an area where Ospreys are especially strong
