Who would you rate higher - Connors or Penny?
Both are very good players but Connors isn’t near Penny’s level yet but he has good potential
I think your schools bias is showing you up here a bit. Impartiality has to be key.

Connors is preferred by both provincial and national coaches and while I don't think that is necessarily reason to say Connors is better it is enough to say he has certainly surpassed Penny in the pecking order.

Do you think Penny will leave or fight it out?
Sorry I meant the other way around, Connors is the better player than Penny by far

I was actually quite surprised that Penny got an Academy contract straight out of school never mind making his pro debut...he will have a lot of competition in the next two years with better players coming through the academy, Mark Hernan being one of them

Good to be back, glad to see the forum still going strong

Any of these leinster youngsters I should be keeping an eye on? , the back line is young but you still have lowes jgp fardy and Ruddock out there to guide them
Scott Penny is a serious prospect. Hugo Keenan at full back too. Cian Kelleher (big bro of hooker Ronan) had a few years at Connacht but is back and quick as a flash. Ciaran Frawley is developing into a decent and reliable 10 too. Big lad an inch taller than Sexton.

Good start against a fierce wind.

A few ropey passes from Frawley but our attack looks dangerous.

Keenan having a good game.

Our halves are not playing well.

Frawley's passing is all over the shop.

9 and 10 need a big kick up the hole here. WTF is that from JGP.

Both have done some good stuff mixed with some really poor errors.
