Really difficult call - I gave it to Harry Byrne on the basis of more production. More starts, more minutes [and more points]. Both positions are very difficult to thrive in as a youngster, so Ryan Baird would be equally worthy.

Milne's been very impressive for a first year academy prop. That RugbyPass article had Wycherley down as Ireland's best U23 loosehead, but I'd say Milne has overtaken him for now.
Probably has to be Baird or Byrne for academy player of the season, though.

Byrne and Baird both have shown top level potential and performance. Milne is nowhere near those parametres yet.
