Forwards look a bit pissed off. Fair play to Cardiff they've put huge effort into this.
Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
Another try from future Munster man Scott Penny. Think that equals the Pro14 record of 7 BP wins in a row (assuming Leinster don’t somehow bottle the win).
Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
Jaysus their #8 Turnbull has been incredible. Constant turnover threat.

They individually did play well against Saracens you can’t prove you’re good enough for International rugby by playing against pro14 teamsmunster#1 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:42 pmBaird, Keenan and Connors have 1 game a piece in the HC, and that was in a poor display against Saracens. Not sure what you make of that?Pilotman123 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:22 pmThought that was the obvious, the pro14 is unchallenged for Leinster our academy starting 15 would probably win most games. You have to at least be playing well in European cup games to be considered for Ireland.Jonny tight lips wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:18 pm If you haven’t played Heineken cup you shouldn’t be getting capped

So Connors 53 mins and Baird 19 were enough for them to be judged as international standard?Pilotman123 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:46 pmThey individually did play well against Saracens you can’t prove you’re good enough for International rugby by playing against pro14 teamsmunster#1 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:42 pmBaird, Keenan and Connors have 1 game a piece in the HC, and that was in a poor display against Saracens. In fairness to Keenan with 80 mins, he is an established player at that level.

Milne and Clarkson are serious carriers. Always add a bit of punch when they come in.

Don’t think many refs would have given that drop by Sheehan as “backwards”, but I’ll take it. Good finish again by Penny

Yes, Baird actually played well and was very physical when he came on, Connors tackling was very goodmunster#1 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:49 pmSo Connors 53 mins and Baird 19 were enough for them to be judged as international standard?Pilotman123 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:46 pmThey individually did play well against Saracens you can’t prove you’re good enough for International rugby by playing against pro14 teams

Defo a knock on by Sheehan
Got lucky
Wasn’t for the bonus point so doesn’t matter

Holy f%~k Jack Dunne is a big man.

Lovely try. Silvester has been good in fairness to him.

I thought Connors and Baird had good games and by virtue of them making the team it showed they were good enough to make it into a team that was good enough to play in a Heineken cup quarter final. They also played and won the playoffs in the Pro14, which is a step up from playing regular season games during the international window.munster#1 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:42 pmBaird, Keenan and Connors have 1 game a piece in the HC, and that was in a poor display against Saracens. If you can’t prove you can make your provincal team when it counts why would you get capped? Let the likes of Harry Byrne earn his cap.
Would you disagree?

Based off tonight I don’t think Harry Byrne is ready yet he needs more time there’s no need to rush him inJonny tight lips wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 7:02 pmI thought Connors and Baird had good games and by virtue of them making the team it showed they were good enough to make it into a team that was good enough to play in a Heineken cup quarter final. If you play well in games against Munster and knock out games I agree you probably deserve an Irish call up but not on games against the likes of Cardiff

This is why Harry Byrne should be playing in a run of these games and not rotated with Hawkshaw just for the sake of it.Pilotman123 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 7:04 pmBased off tonight I don’t think Harry Byrne is ready yet he needs more time there’s no need to rush him inJonny tight lips wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 7:02 pmI thought Connors and Baird had good games and by virtue of them making the team it showed they were good enough to make it into a team that was good enough to play in a Heineken cup quarter final. I think people are understating Baird's impact against Saracens off the bench. He was brilliant that day.
