P**s poor, can't see with the backline we have on the pitch how we can come back from this.

Absolute shambles.

Cannot understand the Turner for Sexton sub in any shape or form. Could Leo not see who went off due to the condensation in the box ? It is the only reason I can come up with.

Well this will be an embarrassing way to finish up the unbeaten run. Bad decisions followed by even worse ones. Lucky we're only 20 points behind.

Conan on and Penny off please. Stick Dan at 7.

Wouldn't mind Connors in at 6 and Baird to second row either. We're not getting off the line at all.

No idea why we persisted with JOB at 10 and didn't just bring on Hawkshaw.

Whatever about our backline, the forwards have been totally outplayed.

Looks like we've eventually run out of players, and that's no disrespect to the new caps.

Toland's first half performance:
  • "Ryan Bard" x3
  • Described Carty's line for Blade's break as "phenomenal"
  • Described a tackle on JOB in the 22 as "nearly impossible"

This requires a bit of grit now from our 1-9. Slow the game down, put pressure on Connacht and hope mistakes will come.

Luke M needs to stand up and be counted. Totally outplayed in that half.

Connacht have brought a real attitude tonight, credit to them. Making some great tackles and applying pressure everywhere.

Need some impact from the bench to pull this one back

We got lucky two years ago coming from behind in this fixture and snatching an unlikely victory at the death. Don't think we're gonna get lucky tonight....

Run hard, clear it at the back instead of playing ourselves into trouble, and fixing the lineout are the big things for me. Breakdown has been a disaster but if we carry hard we’ll be better off instead of all this standing deep and throwing it sideways shite. Not blaming JOB for that btw, it was happening before he moved to ten and Johnny was having a complete mare.

Also if we’re going to try a crossfield kick it might be an idea not to stand 15m back and give Connacht half an hour to cover it.

Lineout shambles and breakdown calamity combo. Match summed up in 5 seconds there.

Lineout malfunctions again.

McBryde and Leo need to get the finger out and sort this.

Our lineout has been a disaster across matches, seasons, throwers, second rows and lifters. It’s no one players issue - it’s a unit skill and the fact it hasn’t been resolved is a significant black mark on the coaches
Leinster jersey on the Great Wall of China. The Mongolians couldn't breach it but the Blues did!

Leavy not comfortable at 8 at all. Our front have been poor in open play and at rucks. Our second row weak and anonymous.

Luke McGrath totally out of sorts; Sexton's 24 minutes on the field was dreadful. Jimmy O'Brien much more comfortable at 15 than 13 or 10. New caps doing ok in the circumstances but not getting any decent ball.

Only good performances are Penny and Baird.
"This is breathless stuff.....it's on again. Contepomi out to Hickie,D'Arcy,Hickie.......................HICKIE FOR THE CORNER! THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, its the hookers. Not one of our hookers could hit a cows arse with a banjo.
