Connacht's second rows have been brilliant, totally outplaying their opposite numbers

Thought that was a harsh crossing call

No, its the hookers. Not one of our hookers could hit a cows arse with a banjo.
Definitely a part of it but if Rory Best can get 100 int caps then one of our hookers can secure safe 2 and 4 ball in the effin P14

We need at least another try and a LBP here. Could be huge.

Very harsh crossing call and a Connacht player clearly not rolling away for their 65th minute holding on penalty. It's almost impossible to chase a deficit with the new breakdown interpretation favouring defensive teams.

Would definitely take that, 2 points here could end up being crucial.

Probably for the same reason he calls Carty “Carthy”

Awful.

Between this and the Saints game we've been ridiculously loose.

One more try for a losing bonus point, few minutes to go, could be crucial at the end of the season. Every point matters.

I thought they didn’t do any with the COVID scare.

Fair play to Connacht, fought for everything all day long and their line speed and physicality has been great.

Tonnes of things for us to be disappointed with but even when we sorted things tactically in the second half our breakdown was really poor. Lots of players standing off or hitting the ruck really weakly. Also been bundled towards touch far too easily, that kind of thing should never happen.

What on earth was Ed Byrne at with that stupid offload? We had momentum and fast ball. Just stupid.

Poor loss with plenty of mitigating circumstances.

But you've have to say in terms of selection, set-piece and lack of game intelligence we made a load of unforced errors there between coaching team and guys on the pitch.

Backrow looked totally unbalanced and turned out that way.
Line-out totally malfunctioned. Again.
And some of our senior guys (McGrath and most of the pack) just got outplayed by less illustrious counterparts.

Need a big win against Ulster now.

Lineout still an issue, comprehensively beaten at the breakdown. Speed and accuracy of passing has too often been haphazard. I'm surprised they only picked us off twice. Their kicks found space ours found defenders.

Congrats to Connacht, comfortably the better side tonight.
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

Considering what we put on the pitch tonight you have to wonder what exactly has been going on behind the scenes with a certain swab test.....

Congratulations Connacht, no complaints.

Thought their tight 5 were very good and their half backs played very well of that platform but the attitude was what stood out. Top performance.

Credit to Leinster for going till the end and getting the bonus point as well. Could be crucial.
