That Malahide Mullet bloke is a focking ledge
Now that rugby's oldest bridesmaid has finally got hitched, she can cast a haughty glance towards Leinster, her high-living sister from Dublin, who, despite her immense beauty and vast potential, has trouble getting lucky.

I agree, sad to see his rugby career with Leinster end in such a quiet fashion, although that is the way he played his rugby.

Appreciated Flash.
Yeah Rexy, he went with little fanfare but as you say he was never one for looking for notice.
But he was there for most of the Leinster professional era. He was a very good scrummager, even though handicapped by a lack of sheer bulk. Could have won a lot more caps, and probably would have if he hadn't had those long-term shoulder injuries.
Still a fine servant for Leinster.

Yeah, a gas man.
I remember a game against Ulster where their hooker (might have been Paul Shields, but not sure) was having a mare.
Just as he was about to throw in at a lineout, Halpin shouts "Lads, he can't throw for shite!"
The nearby crowd burst out laughing and the poor fecker lost the lineout again....
