Leinster Cubs go noodle crazy at Wagamama!
On Wednesday morning children from the Leinster Cubs Club rolled up to noodle at Wagamama Dublin for a morning packed of activities and fun and met some of the Leinster squad.
Wagamama Dublin invited a group of 50 children to come along for a visit and the children prepped with the head chef and learned how to take orders on the electronic handheld pc’s, make their own juices and most importantly try some of the delicious noodles!
In the process they learned about the food Wagamama serve, the nutritional value and the environment in which the staff work. They also got an insight into health, safety and hygiene.
The children received goodie bags to leave them with lasting memories of their day and met stars of the Leinster panel Rob Kearney, Stephen Keogh and Malcolm O’Kelly who were on hand to answer questions and participate in the fun activities.
Christine Chung, Operations Manager for Wagamama Ireland said, “The kids love it, especially messing about with the noodles. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to get the local community involved and excited about the food.”
Wagamama is an award winning Asian inspired noodle restaurant which first opened its doors back in 1992 in London’s Bloomsbury. Their ethos is to combine great, fresh and nutritious food in a sleek yet simple setting, with helpful friendly service and good value for money.
Wagamama opened its doors in Dublin in 1998 (their first international location) which followed with another opening in Cork in 2005. Wagamama, a partner of Leinster Rugby, now have over 80 restaurants worldwide and continue to expand.

Leinster players eat for free in Wagamama - there is one of them in particular who takes the piss, regulars could be forgiven if they were under the impression that he actually works there.
