Congrats to Rala

Post by thecoolfreak »

Just after noticing that Paddy "Rala" O'Reilly is the bag man for the Lions tour. He's been a vital mamber of the irish staff for years at this stage and if anyone deserves a Lions tour he does. Well done!

he's a complete legend. I spent a few summers a few years ago training in anglesea road, there were always a few rehabbing leinster players knocking around and therefore Rala. He'd always send us off at the end with a ridiculous amount of free powerade from the famous Rala van! Very nice guy.

Cool. From reading some of the Irish players books he's supposed to be the life and soul of the Irish squad!

There will be no shortage of wine gums on the tour so. :D Fair play to Rala, much more than just a bag man to the lads and one of the unsung heroes of the game.

i was just reading today a les kiss interview and hes said that the night before the wales game, at 12 o'clock, a number of players taped rala to a chair, taped his mouth and put him in the escalator of the hotel and just kept pressing the button on different floors.Breaking their shits laughing just to relieve some nerves and tension!!Kiss, who wrote the article (pretty poorly) seemed bemused almost by this "irishness". F**kin priceless!! Good man rala. :happy clapper: :happy clapper:
