Scary day from a leinster pov, too many of their front row players playing, massive chance of injury to one or more front row players, especially when you look at players like cj and hvdm with points to prove, and sa likely to target strauss.

If we're going on form then Gilroy and Trimble would be the starting wingers for Ulster, with Bowe to lose out.

19-05-12 Leinster 42 v 14 Ulster
20-04-12 Ulster 08 v 16 Leinster
26-12-11 Leinster 42 v 13 Ulster
13-05-11 Leinster 18 v 03 Ulster
16-04-11 Leinster 34 v 26 Ulster
27-12-10 Ulster 13 v 30 Leinster
26-12-09 Leinster 15 v 03 Ulster

I think the last 7 games results speak for themselves. 194 points scored for Leinster, Ulster have scored 80. Ulster have had a great start to the season going 9 from 9, but have yet to win the sum total of fcuk all yet.

You sound like Mr Kidney/Munster fans. We had something similar to that when Ulster travelled to Thomond Park in April.

Anyway, it's all about this season, teams evolve year on year, maybe suffering from ageing or youngs players developing. I don't think those past 7 results will matter much when the Ulster/Leinster play each other in December.

His form and class would have gotten him game time at any Irish province, lets remember that Leinster have been giving game time to Conway and Carr on the wing, who have been frankly rubbish for ye and have played the pretty slow Dave Kearney there as well.

All he needed was 1 cap to show his class and he would have gotten that at Leinster anyway. It's a pretty pathetic excuse to use againest him.
Where did I have a go at him exactly? As I repeatedly said, he's a cracking player. I've been wanting him in the Ireland squad for ages.

I was just making a simple point that he had less competition for a starting place on the wing at the time of his breakthrough when compared to Dave Kearney. Trimble and broken down Danielii compared to Horgan/Isa/Fitzgerald and McFadden.

But gwan away and have your hissy fit anyway. You seem to feel a need to have a pointless rant for some reason. Most Ulster fans who post on here have a bit of cop-on but you could give the Munster trolls a run for their money.

I agree. I don't care how much we lose by, I just want no Leinster injuries.

And a new coach of course.

In fairness it doesn't take much for Big Alster to lose the run of himself. I recall how he spent the week of the HC final telling us how the Ulster pack was so much better than ours and how they would destroy us.

Went strangely quiet after that for some reason!

Nice to have the option of watching the game on BBC and avoid RTE's rubbish coverage.

Watching the punditry on RTE though, George Hook has just informed us that the black jersey is a disgrace because 'our flag is green white and yellow'. A combination of the worlds greatest comedy writers couldn't come up with this stuff

BOD and Kearney on the BBC.

Strauss belting out the national anthem like a good one was a surprise. Would have though he'd stick to Irelands call.

Three from three from Jonny. 9-3 without really doing anything so far but I'll take it.
