I hope you're wrong about one of those names because I want to see the IRFU award their 1066th cap next weekend!

It's likely he'd have Henshaw at 12 and D'Arcy at 13. Olding (for Payne) on the bench so he can sub Henshaw off at ht.
Would agree with Ross but Ah You has to get at least 30 mins. The Georgians would be a good test for him.
Would rest Jamie too.

I hope Ruddock is fit. Took a bad knock yesterday towards the end and only stayed on cause there was no forward left on the bench.

I like the Olding one John, think though if Henshaw was earmarked for 12 he would have played more there plus Darcy doesnt have wheels for international 13 anymore IMO
Centre will be the really interesting call alright

Stairs would be a good test for Ah You, but he will get on for a chunk

If Ruddock has a knock Dippy would be a better fit at 6 than TOD even if thats the general pecking order

It's clear Joe sees Madigan as an outhalf, and the best in Ireland. But compared to the great O'Connor, Joe's judgement is suspect

What does he do with the front row. Unchanged or try someone different for game time. Georgia aren't mugs in that department
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

I reckon Rodney A-Y will get a good run out. Mike Ross might need a bit of game time for fitness though.

I wouldn't risk that pairing in the row. Would like to see Mike McCarthy with Paulie start because we'll need a serious front five to give half-backs and mid-field some ball so that Joe can see how they play together. Georgia have been targeting this game and will only have had their French based players for about four days of training before their game against Tonga yesterday (beaten 9-23). They will be a different proposition against us with another week of work together.

Half-backs of Marmion & Keatley, Mid-field of 12. Olding (if fit) and 13. Henshaw. Wings of Gilroy and Luke Fitz with Felix at FB would be more to my taste.

RTE reporting Payne has a foot strain so will probably miss it/wont be risked/will have training curtailed

If Georgia could name a third set of front rowers on the bench they would but beyond front row theyre proD2 players and amateurs
Gorgodze is out for a few months injured

We shouldn't go lathering ourselves up into a building. It's Georgia FFS.
It just goes to show how much damage a coach can do to the national psyche, given half a chance. That one's all yours EOS.

Ah You or Archer for Ross
Strauss for Cronin
Killer for McGrath
McCarty for POC
TOD for POM
Madigan for Sexton
And that's about it.
Unless Payne is injured then bring in Darcy.
Come up with a plan to get Zebo into space and let him fly.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Ireland v Georgia

I don't think you could have McGrath on the bench when you consider he's carrying a knock and we'll need him at 100% for Australia. Joe may call up another LH Prop.

I wouldn't play any of the forwards who played against SA after the workload they got through, but I have a feeling Heaslip may start or be on the bench. I would go for:

Jones, Zebo, D'arcy, Olding, Gilroy, Madigan, Reddan

Killer, Best/Strauss, Here You/Ross, Foley, McCarthy, TOD, Henry (if fit), Dippy.

I wouldn't have Toner or POC on the bench, if Henry is fit Diack could be used as a 2nd Row/Back Row sub. So I would have Diack Heaslip, Keatley, Marmiom & Luke (if possible), if not Luke then Leader.

With Copeland not named in the original squad we're a bit short at 8 so I would move Dippy to 8 & TOD to 6 to accommodate Henry at 7, but I can't see that being the back row come Sunday afternoon.

Bit of a mad team, but given the match on Saturday and the opposition this Sunday I would go with that team.

Ah You's only contribution to Saturday was managing to miss three tackles, according to the stats. Joe mightn't be too forgiving of that
