Ford will be dropped as soon as Farrell comes back
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014
Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

England mincing them up front. Wales's front five can really be targetted

Its going to take some team to stand up to that level of physicality. That English pack is playing HUGE.

England are big, physical and well organised. Going to be a good team that beats them this season. Backs look sharp too.

How many of those players currently missing will walk back into the team though.

Lawes I'd imagine, anyone else?

Farrell for sure. I think there are other options e.g ford . But I don't believe Lancaster thinks this is close to his first choice 15

Told you Wales would win easily

They just collapsed after the first quarter or so. Thought the drop goal would turn things but they were a non entity in the second half.

England came out brilliantly after the break, really impressed with how their pack ramped things up and the security that Watson provided in particular. Wales were dreadful at trying to beat up the English midfield and Ford and co coped well for the most part when they did. I was really surprised with how the Welsh outside backs failed to cope physically, especially for Joseph's try.

We'll be smarter at moving the English around so I'm not overly worried about them but the breakdown will be a war zone and that could easily upset us.

I can't believe North stayed on btw.

Very impressive from England, and I agree with JohnG, possibly a good result for us

Wales lack of a bench killed them

Biggar did a sublime Gopperth impression of folding like a cheap accordion when the pressure came on and kicked like he was wearing wellies

Launchbury (although Attwood has impressed me since he has come in), Morgan and Wilson all with very strong cases. I think The Brand made it difficult for Wood to walk straight back into the team when he is fit again and once upon a time Tuilagi was fit and would walk into the team. Whether he is ever fit again, who knows.

I would say all of the England forwards and several of the backs were robbed by the MOM award to Ford.

And all I could think of when I kept seeing George North hitting the deck out cold was that kid who died in the North from second impact syndrome. There's no way he should have been left out there, arguably after the first time, definitely after the second time.

Webb too. I was surprised at both of them because they started well and crumbled before England actually got motoring.

I actually felt like Webb was knackered from the quick start they'd had made. His kicking went to absolute shite well before half time under no real pressure. I really like Biggar but his efforts to get behind the English wingers were very poor and his missed kick to touch led to the Joseph try.
