Very very poor. How are we so ineffectual at the breakdown. Why hasn't Eddie made changes to try and rectify the situation? Why isn't O'Gara kicking for territory? So many many problems.....not good enough by a long way
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Oh I have - however I thought I'd seen the back of performances like that in the late 80s up to the middle of the 90s.

I hope the craic was good outside the stadium and around the town, because I cant think it was very pleasant to be Irish at the game.

Looking froward to the post match comments - someone needs to come out and admit we played sh!t; possibly apologise. None of this "we were the only ones that gave namibia any credit" - SA pot more than 100 points on those lads during the summer, and they were beaten by london welsh during a warm up game.

We were sh!t and someone other than the supporters need to admit that.

After seeing the way SA/NZ attacked every ruck/breakdown with such ferocity and then seeing us getting made bitches of by amateurs in same area shows how far we are away from winning a WC.

Depressing doesn't sum it up..............

Disgraceful!! But as poor and all as it was why are people just blaming EOS? While he has to shoulder some of the blame the players have to take their fair share. I'd expect more from a crowd club players.

Fairly valid point alright. I'm not his biggest fan but can't blame him for number of unforced errors, never seen Hickie play that bad before, in terms of handling/passing anyway..

While the players do have to accept some of the blame, the coach had SEVEN options on the bench. Steady Eddie will never change either his favourite 15 or his attitude.

cop on to yourself will you.
Of course he gets the blame - he's the one with responsibility for the performance of the team. The buck stops with him. End of.

I think the point tcf was making is he shouldn't shoulder ALL the blame, the players have to look at themselves too.

I have to say that I noticed Wallace was particularily bad from the kick off. He was on his knees and puffing before half time. Is he fit yet? If not we have no real replacement no seven. More to worry about

So we'll blame him for Hickie dropping about 5 passes? For ROG missing touch time after time? For the forwards not coping on to themselves and putting more numbers in the rucks?

EOS has to take a lot of the blame but equally so do the players!!
