Odd that it's the Indo who are pushing it given their new partnership.

Foley was quizzed as to whether or not the most disappointing aspect of the episode was the fact that there was a leak from within the Munster organisation, that news of the report accidentally being sent out to the squad even made its way to the media.

“In the modern day, it’s seldom that things don’t make the media. It was contained up to Sunday. Obviously on Saturday, there was someone ringing around the houses trying to get information from the players, which obviously isn’t the way things are done, but you accept that and fight it at a later date.
Can we call this Foley-gate?

The hunt for deep-throat is on.
 You want to make it into a porno?

(Well I suppose if they could turn winning a rugby match into a long running play and practically into a way of life....)
Naughty.
I was of course referring to the Watergate scandal. But you knew that of course.

Well with the (alleged) reputation of one or two of their players I reckon there'd be at least one candidate for the lead role!!!

RTE chose to ignore it and report POM's comments on the season today, for example.
Article in the Irish times today also. Keatley being questioned about it. But I think foley is right about people wanting him to fail. Typically Irish in many ways.

Personally I hope he does very well, but he has made a rod for his own back with some of the backroom appointments in the eyes of the meeja, that said I hope they work out too

From the way I understand it was leaked initially, it was always going to get into the wild

I have seen a supposed depth chart and also one page of the supposed notes, with a summary of 5 players.

One player is described as having a 'sloppy lifestyle'.

Again, these could easily be total horsesh*t but interesting reading if they are real!

Don't have a link but it's out there alright. I've only seen the depth chart, the most startling thing about it is that Denis Hurley is first choice 12.

feeds into my earlier suspicion that Tyler Durden was a Penney signing and Axel wants nothing to do with him, also means not planning on starting a 2nd 5 8th in big games

Doesn't matter lads. The charts obsolete since the game against the not nots. Axel loves his crayons!

Feck it spill. What colour crayon is first choice?

Eg is Hurley red crayon 12

Brendan Fanning and Quinny discuss Foley-gate today. Fanning has a pop at Foley for his reaction.
Starts at about 35mins.

Any chance this leak is deliberate? To fire a backroom staff member, or mind games for the players?
...a beautiful weighted pass...it is 3 on 2...it is 3 on 1...Hickie!...Magnificent!

There's something on Planet Rugby, not sure if it's the depth chart. Hurley is identified as the best 15, as far as I can make out.

It is accurate based on the Fanning interview.

EDIT: No clearer version says 12

No, none.

Foley would have done it faster to discredit Penney.

Merely producing such a document and sharing it with fitness coaches makes the coaching team look unprofessional.
