Scrum is a real worry for them, neither prop is up to it.

Shouting for Munster here but how there isn't one in the bin is beyond me

That's devastating. Had them destroyed with the maul but now a scrum. Think Munster could do with ballast in the row too.

Oh, and every ref in the world has copped that Cronin can't won't scrum straight. He has gone from being the better loosehead to a Liability for them.

Good contest and deserved win for Munster. Well refereed despite the crowd pressure. Some questions about Munster scrum, but their maul saved their lives. Some poor decisions by Hidalgo-Clyne in attack in 3rd quarter when Edinburgh had position and possession.

Don't know why Edinburgh didn't just stand off the lineouts rather than competing in the maul, but I suppose it is why they are mid table

Good win for Munster and deserved too. Ugly but the 5 pts will almost certainly see them in the Heino next year, which is good news for all of us. Nobody wants a basket case Munster.

Scrum was a disaster and there were a few poor mistakes but I have to say that was a lot like watching the old Munster. Great hunger and tempo in everything they did and the maul was fantastic. Holland isn't perfect but he does a lot of really good things and if he keeps improving he could be a real gem. Earls and Conway were excellent. Earls' workrate was brilliant, he had one chase and clear out in the first half that was really brilliant and I don't think it was a planned move that nearly led to him scoring from the maul, think he just decided to get stuck in. That was probably the most confident I've seen Conway since under 20 level. He did some brilliant things and looked like he was loving it, long may it continue.

I don't see it as a great Munster performance. No scrum, lost a lot of line outs, but good play by the backs and good maul. If the ref gave a yellow card for all the scrum penalties they'd have lost. Good win but they really made hardwork of it.

The crowd seemed great, good to see some good games back in Cork
