Down here we don't look in the paper one day and say "Leinster are going well, you know what, I think I might pop along, whatto?!"
Well you do, actually. If attendances are anything to go by.
You're talking about the Lunsters there, Deco, you probably went to a couple yourself.

I was counting Ferris as being around the same time as Best. He was probably first choice well ahead of him. He is younger though.

What about players like Chris Henry, Jacob Stockdale, Luke Marshall, Stuart McCloskey, Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding, all of whom post date Rory Best's debut? Not fair on Ulster not to acknowledge the latter two when it was non-rugby reasons that got them excluded from consideration for Ireland. I may have overlooked some others.

Not forwards bar Henry who is around the same vintage as when they were producing forwards. And I was talking about forwards.

Which is long, long ago.

Pretty large injury list for Munster going into start of the season.

The one that stands out though:
Conor Oliver will be sidelined for 14 weeks after dropping a weight on his toe during a recent gym session.
Sounds like a sore one

We've all done it. Thankfully only near misses in recent times. Was it Tadhg Furlong that did it last season?

Zander Fagerson broke his foot last season doing the same thing with a weights bench.

I wonder how quick the messiah will turn into a pariah once a result goes against them?

Confirmed to be a two year deal - anyone want to speculate on that?

Well he was under contract to Leinster when he was shifted down there. So he can be shifted back if Jonny retires after the WC.

Disclaimer. None of the above is likely

Clearly a negative for Leinster but this move has the potential to be enormously positive for Carbery, Munster and Ireland.
Be nice to see a repeat of this with Sexton getting an earful this time.

Munster can't be successful without Leinster's help. Sad.

Would be good alright, then when Johnny is clearly the inferior player he could do this

and get his place back in the team. :happy clapper:
