Rugby matters. Roddy Grant rumoured to be on his way to Ulster as forwards coach. End of the line for Dundon?

Suprised if true. The Ulster forwards have being doing well this season and I thought Dundon was rated by fans. Also McFarland is a forward coach. It could be true with McFarlands Scottish connections but you'd have to wonder if Dundon is jumping or being pushed.

Suprised if true. The Ulster forwards have being doing well this season and I thought Dundon was rated by fans. Also McFarland is a forward coach. It could be true with McFarlands Scottish connections but you'd have to wonder if Dundon is jumping or being pushed.

Not sure where the Fund in rates by fans came from, our scrum was terrible before McFarland started with us

Ulster being linked with the Highlanders back Matt Faddes for 2019/20 season. Apparently plays a number of positions and has played 7s for NZ.

The ousting of Aaron Dundon, presumably by McFarland, is being done relatively gently as he stays till May and Roddy Grant comes in by June. McFarland must get the credit for the scrum improvement and Grant is being brought in because of his skills with forwards. Recognizing that Cockerill is also a specialist front five Coach, like McFarland, he looks like a very good fit for Ulster.

I've believed for years that the key to Irish Provincial success and thus National Depth, is the quality of Coaches we recruit. IMO, TPFKM lack a top class Attack Coach. Ulster have Payne and Peel and a very good Skills coach. Grant is an excellent addition to the Group. Now, let's wait and see whether anybody is recruited to Limerick.

Marcell Coetzee has put pen to paper on a three-year contract extension, keeping him at Ulster until at least the summer of 2022.

More Ulster transfer rumours in the local press - Gareth Milasinovich, an IQ'd Saffer prop joining from Worcester. He is 6 Ft 3 and 20 Stone and likely to be replacement for Herbst who appears to be leaving. Never heard of the guy to be fair. May be something to this with Conor Carey joining Worcester next season from Connacht. His grandfather Norman McFarland played for Ulster before moving to South Africa in the 1960s.
