Sing along lads!

Post by Mack05 »

Beautiful, Beautiful "Munster",
Star of my soul fade away.
I sigh, when I think of my Munster,
With whom I played many a game.

D4 can boast of aul Leinster,
England of the Tigers and Sale,
But Ireland can boast of mighty Munster,
Whose best games are yet to be seen.

Chorus

Now there was Toulouse in red, you have USAP,
Bath are the boys in blue,
While Wasps did well, "T'would be hard to tell
What the French Stade boys would do,
And Sale all white made a right good fight,
in the final pool game well they showed,
But they all gave it up, for the Heineken Cup
Which won by the Red road.

Then cheer boys cheer, for our own fifteen
Of the Red and Black fame,
We're a true home team, and have always been,
and we're proud of the Munster name.
Their task well done, their victory won,
All glory to them is owed,
And we'll sing our song, sing it all day long,
sing hurrah, for the Red Road.

You can go up to the Bombin' Field on a Sunday,
Watch the Young boys go out to train,
Sure it would make an old man of about sixty,
play the game over again...........

Chorus

leinter rugby being confined to D4 would explain our small playing population! if thats the case clontarf and coolmine must be out in the sticks!
'Oh miss PacMan, i'd sex that bow right off your head!'

clontarf is fairly central, but coolimne is in the back of beyond, down windy back roads with no street lighting or footpaths ;)
