My sister does, and she'll be with me. She's an IKEA ninja.

It's a tricky and weird place. The thing is to do your research beforehand online. Know what you're looking for. Don't go into the showroom area. Walk the wrong way through the checkouts, straight to the warehouse and the PCs for locating your item. Grab them and get out. If you must, navigate the showroom using every shortcut possible. Don't use the maps or the floor arrows. Ask staff as they don't care in the slightest about making you go halfway around the world.

Should be in and out in under an hour unless you're buying a large amount.

I've had to go there a fair few times for work. It's weird seeing about 100 people huddled around the door at 9.55am waiting for it to open with their rental vans from all around the country parked nearby.

Couple of months ago myself and my mate went into IKEA, I needed a TV bench, he was looking for a side table. We we 17 mins from getting out of the car to getting the gear back in the car. Then we went back in for some hotdogs and ice cream. Like heroes.
Can I raise a practical question at this point? Are we gonna do "Stonehenge" tomorrow?

This is her off season training :-)
I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

The food hall in IKEA is very cheap. Arguably the lowest cost food you will get in the emerald isle. And not that bad either!

Hmmm... you do recall the contents of some of that food in the recent past do you? Check the news reports. I wouldn't touch the meatballs with yours, nor anything "chocolate" with, well, anything other than toilet paper.

To be avoided. Save money some other way.

(and while I may have seemed facetious saying go the opposite direction to the arrows, I wasn't really. As pointed out above: enter through the checkouts and get your stuff there, use the shortcut out to the market and back from the checkouts if you want something on the ground floor. Staff are perfectly happy to let you through staff only routes if you have children also in my experience)

I quite enjoy IKEA, if I've stuff to buy and time to spare the wander through the shop can be quite enjoyable. Skip the stuff you don't want and browse through the stuff you do. A quick scan online beforehand can be beneficial if you want to save some time.

Just plan the visit to avoid large crowds and it's fine.
Get in the f%~king bag.

I think it's great that Saracens lost both the Heineken Cup and Premiership finals.

Been watching the TT nightly on Setanta all this week. Have not been to the Island since 2007. Must get back over there in the near future. My fastest lap was 35 minutes in 1987, (Open Roads with Traffic). An absolute blast! :D :D :D
