LPT - Gouging - Special Rant

LPT going up by close to 40%.
Justification will be that there's been no increase since the tax was implemented.
Rate of inflation since this tax was first levied, according to official figures (you can't spin it both ways) has been moribund, somewhere between 10 and 20% I'd guess.
Ergo gouging in progress.
The increase will more than cover inflation.
The remainder will help a bit to fill the hole left by the non show of water charges and cover salary increases that the entitled classes think they're entitled too.
Even the non voting TDs will probably get a pay rise because they're linked to public service pay grades.

Is that just for the well heeled, cosseted and serviced people of Dublin or will it also affect those us with our own water supply, septic tank and no public transport?
