What happened in Gerards over the last ten years that they are suddenly a good team?

I thought Ward was at Mary's, knew had some big name coaching them. KH have Ray McIlreavy who won 2 Leinster caps back in the mid nineties. Explains a lot really.

Don't be slagging off Ray! He was a great player. Himself and Eric Miller dragged an average Wesley team to a JCT final and lost on a charged down kick (Richie Murphy was the Pres OH).

I was there!

Always been a fan of Richie Murphy from his Greystones and Leinster days and now he's showing what a class act he was with his work as the Skill coach for Leinster. Given the way we're playing at the moment, he's got to be feeling a happy bunny with his abilities as a coach.

Ray McIlreavy was a great player. Wonderful temperament. No reason why he wouldn't be a good coach, IMO.

We'll have to agree to disagree, though my opinion of Ray was formed as a student, and would be pretty biast

Nearly as biased as my opinion of him, having taken an average school to a cup final!!!

15.30 actually.

Think I'll take this in as an appetizer for the Scarlets match. It's pretty much the final anyway.
