Wins from Marys and Tarf yesterday maintain Marys three point lead at the top.
Lansdowne fall back after losing though.

was at Shannon V Tarf in Thomand, Tarf raced into a 22 nil lead at half time scoring 2 trys while down to 14 men. 2nd half shannon scored 2 late trys to put some respectability on the score. Tarf were good for the win but this Shannon team is very poor.

Marys winning run ended away to Dolphin. Tarf now top after beating Belvo.
Re: All Ireland League - Thread
Top three all win again, but Mary's BP draws them level on points with Tarf at the top of the table. Munsters two points behind.
I notice Munsters are playing Tarf the same day as the Munster-Leinster match at the end of March. Might be worth getting down early to catch it.

I know a few of the locals, some of who frequent this parish from time to time. I'm sure they'll lay down their lives to keep me safe!alterego wrote:You must be feeling lucky...Donny B. wrote:Top three all win again, but Mary's BP draws them level on points with Tarf at the top of the table. Belvo have nine losing BPs out of thirteen games this season. Tells it's own story...Exile wrote:Dolphin scraped home against Belvo 17-16. Belvo v unlucky (again).

was at Clontarf V Cork Con, the better team scraped through despite doing their best the make a mess of things, both teams struggled to take advantage of the strong wind with several kicks going out dead on the full.Donny B. wrote:Top three all win again, but Mary's BP draws them level on points with Tarf at the top of the table. 14th April clontarf host Marys, 21st April Marys host YM, having seen a lot of AIL this season i think Marys and Clontarf are far stronger than YM, YM have only scored 12 trys in the league and from what i've seen seem to rely on slowing down the game at every opportunity and looking for kicks, once the ground gets harder it will suit Marys and Clontarf more who both have very good backlines.
5 games remaining, Tarf have 3 home games while YM and Mary's both have 2...

Re: All Ireland League - Thread
are they both at the aviva? full stadium? Lansdowne Marys could be a great game to watch, dont know if i could bear watching YM again, most negative team i've seen in years.Donny B. wrote:Good Double-header on Saturday Afternoon as well

big crowd expected in castle ave tonight for Clontarf v Rock, even mentioned on morning ireland this morning.
Re: All Ireland League - Thread
No, Belvo are at home in Anglesea Road, then the other game is in the back pitch of the Aviva. Was just linking them as they're around the corner from each other. Sorry for any confusion though.bamboozle wrote:are they both at the aviva? full stadium? I have the "pleasure" of Cork Con v Dolphin tonight. Looking forward to a game under floodlights. Expect there will be little love lost between the teams.
