Great game..??

Pretty average actually, and Belvo look like a team that's a carrying a lot of hype. Big pack that failed to make their domination count after virtually owning the ball and territory in the first fifteen minutes and a very, very limited backline...
Thought that Belvo pack really came into its own only towards the end of the match. Weak link in the Belvo side was the IC Crosby, dithered on the ball too many times and got pulverised by a well marshalled Nure defence. SH was also very slow in getting the ball out allowing more time for the Nure defence to get into Belvo faces.

Given the size of the Belvo Pack, the Nure pack had a great day on the ground forcing many turnovers and errors from Belvo in ruck situiations.

Jones' try was exceptional. Leinster academy for him next year ?

Never a fan of Terenure & generally always happy to see them lose, but I felt very sorry for them yesterday. Have to say (as a neutral) that it was a very enjoyable match to watch.

Firstly, the lads on the Terenure team should be very proud of how they stood up yesterday. Their composure under real pressure was fantastic. Whoever is the defensive coach of Terenure deserves great credit.
The amount of possession, territory and opportunities Belvo had but were unable to convert due to the Terenure terriers :D was simply amazing...

Can the mods use the same facility which tones down naughty words to do the same and replace "Terenure" or "'Nure" with their true monikker?

I thought it was a great game to watch. Sure, the standard of rugby wasn't as high as it could've been, but the excitement and the entertainment factor more than made up for that. A great start to the schools cup, hopefully there's many more like that.

Michaels are in for a big shock here. Pres beat them twice as Js in 2005 and once in 2006. Everyone of the Pres team has beaten Michaels more than they have lost to them and most have never lost. Roddy Carroll nearly beat them on his own in the Senior Cup 2 years ago as a 16 year old so as an 18 year old he must be pretty confident.

We gave them a good fright not so long ago in the first round.

Watch out for Pres Bray's Robin O'Sullivan (younger brother of Alex), Leinster and Ireland schools player and tipped for big things.

yes but they were very lucky - I remember burke-flynn celebrating as if he'd won the cup after that match.

I have that sinking feeling that they're going to win it again. I've heard they are an extremely talented group of players.

Have I got my games mixed up? I'm pretty sure that was the first round game between Pres and Michaels? I've been to most Pres senior cup games and a good few michaels ones too so could have gotten them mixed up.
