I don't think that it's possible to tackle a one legged played around the leg legally - by definition it will always be a trip.

Cathal played for Clontarf J4 as a flanker and gave a mean hand off (stump off) which really hurt. Barnhall also had a player at this level with one hand completely missing. He played on the wing.

I played with a one armed scrum half a couple of times in London.

He could grip the ball with his one hand, and had a mean pass on him. He never had any bother making tackles off either shoulder either.

He was always good for a break or two in matches, as the other team stopped and just looked at him in action :)
