Colours '08

Post by Mustapha »

What's the form like heading into this match for both sides? Any chance of another glorious Trin victory?
A little known fact about JC (not Jerry, the other one. The nice Jewish boy) was that he was a top-level statistician. Where does the bible tell us this? Mark 6:30-44

His Poisson distribution skills were miraculous.

Trinity have been muck since Christmas. I'd say it'll be UCD unfortunately.

last year was another blip in irish rugby, order shall be restored.

Dont know their exact div2 position, but it is not being on top and after getting a hammering from ballinahynch last week is hardly the sort of form to make collidge quiver in their boots

Good article...

No idea how D2 is, I left Trinity a good few years ago.

Trinity have had a lot of injuries since Xmas in fairness to them, and were strong candidates for promotion until the recent run of results. If they get all their guys back by March, which they hope to, they'll be stronger than they were last year (when they won the colours). It could be an interesting game, but UCD will go in as favourites.

Quite surprising that Setanta never cover the game actually. I'd say more would watch it than some of the SCT games they show...

Erudite discourse from the cheap seats... Standard.

Yeah, UCD have a better win ratio and are mores successful.

What do the stats say about Munster/Leinster. Or Ireland/NZ? Hmmm?

Which was what exactly? UCD's only chant, or the fact that a much bigger uni, that has a better funded sports program as well as lower entry requirments, has a better record? Pretty sure those issues were both adressed in my previous missive.

Leinsterman, if you could point me in the right direction, well, that would be just wizzo.

jeez, ease of the bitterness there mustapha. It's only a bit of a laugh at the end of the day.

What chant in particular do the mighty trinners (aka the shites) have?

Although i guess i was being unfair comparing a university to dublin 2's foremost polytechnic.

"requirments" :D :D :D You're clearly a shining example of the University of Dublin's intellectual superiority (I'd love to call it Trinity College but I think an American university has the legal rights to that name). Anyway, apart from the poor spelling, we graciously accept your acknowledgement that UCD is bigger, better funded and more successful.
