2011 / 2012 Leinster Jersey?
Saw these on ebay, from a seller in France, thought they looked fake, but looked at the new Canterbury RWC jersey and it's exactly the same style.. The no sponsor would tie in if Bank of Ireland aren't going to renew..
The white one is ok, but the blue one's pretty bad!

Re: 2011 / 2012 Leinster Jersey?
Oh Good God! I was hoping that with the light blue HC jersey this season, they'd left the stupid designs behind them, but these are bloody awful, especially the Blue one.
Re: 2011 / 2012 Leinster Jersey?
The blue is horrible! The white is okay, but not amazeballs.
Re: 2011 / 2012 Leinster Jersey?
It's bizarre looking. It's like they've stitched two jerseys together. The top half isn't too bad but the bottom half is a disaster. As for the stupid line coming across the front, all I can ask is why? Ah well I've pretty much given up on jerseys anyway, hopefully there will be some nice polo shirts.

Wouldn't worry about this one if I was you...Donny B. wrote:It's bizarre looking. It's like they've stitched two jerseys together. The top half isn't too bad but the bottom half is a disaster. Why? Are you saying they're not real? Please be saying that!Hickiefan wrote:Wouldn't worry about this one if I was you...Donny B. wrote:It's bizarre looking. The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

They look genuine Canterbury, but hopefully they were mock ups that were flatly rejected!

Re: 2011 / 2012 Leinster Jersey?
I would say that these are real. There is no reason for them to invent a jersey
Serves you all right for saying how much you like the third jersey
Away jersey is nice. Would mind seeing a navy version of this jersey
The powers that be have 67 days to change the colour of the home jersey

I like the yellow bits on the white jersey! The blue one looks like a pyjama version (with the lower part as the silky trouser type) of the current unicorn jizz edition.

The blue one is absolutely awful.
Re: 2011 / 2012 Leinster Jersey?
Awful, Awful Jersey.
The away one is ok, but wouldn't buy it.
Are the peeps "in the know" assuring us that these aren't the jersey's? Seems bizzare that fake jerseys would be manufactoured and put on ebay.... they look like perfectly genuine, real jerseys, if not the approved design....
Put some yellow on the home jersey, it seems like every single fan has been asking for years for a blue and yellow jersey (the original Leinster colours from the first logo, which everyone liked until it was decided to make it all white ) but they keep messing around with the shades of blue and unicorn jizz bank of Ireland stuff.....are fans going to be listened to at any point? I can't see how a vote on deisgns from the Leinster website wouldn't be a superb marketing tool and also will ensure the most desirable jersey to the fans is made (considering it doesn't really matter what it looks like, the fans just need to like it so it will sell...)
Simples stuff. Strange.

Re: 2011 / 2012 Leinster Jersey?
They're genuine jerseys obviously, but there are many, many jerseys produced in the 12 months from the start of the process to the finalising of the design and its move to production.Jackass wrote:

As I said before, the blue one pictured is not our home jersey for next season.
