I was hoping Kilkenny would draw Cork.
Was hopin the same myself about KK getting Cork as I thought Cork might just have beaten them but cant really see Limerick bein able to halt them n if they get a good win against limerick could be very dangerous again in semis

Well my reasoning is that there is nothing like the site of a Cork jersey to focus the Kilkenny lads.Seosamh wrote:Avenger wrote:Kilkenny/Limerick v Tipp

Happy enough with that. Got the win, a good work out (far better prep than the Dub game for example) and still plenty to work on.nelly the elephant wrote:Limerick giving it a fair old rattle today in fairness

+1. Headed into the game today worried that things might not click, and at half time I feared that Tipp would come out on top having hauled back the 5 point margin. Could not have been more relieved at the second half, an incredible display.Donny B. wrote:Kilkenny simply awesome today.

Re: General GAA thread
Stunning performance alright from Kilkenny. I wonder will Galway put it up to them like the Leinster Final or will it be a procession for the Cats?

Tipps heaviest championship defeat in almost 100 years. That'll do!

Forewarned is forearmed. Kilkenny won't be caught unawares by Galway's physicality this time and I fear another hiding like yesterday. Hopefully Galway have enough about them to at least make a game of it.Cianostays wrote:Stunning performance alright from Kilkenny. Re: General GAA thread
CORK (SFC v Donegal): A Quirke; R Carey, M Shields, E Cadogan; P Kissane, G Canty, N O’Leary; A O’Connor, A Walsh; F Goold, P Kelly, P Kerrigan; C O’Neill, D O’Connor, N Murphy.
Cork name team for Sunday and that degenerate gambler Conor Counihan continues with his crazy bet to try to win the All Ireland with 14 players (See the inclusion of one N Murphy at corner forward).
Cork: Such a horrible shower of b$&%@#ds that even their own fans don't want to watch them, but a good bloody team!

This might actually be the most boring football match ever played.

Counihan saw sense and dropped Murphy and now has his six best forwards starting. Not a bad start to the game actuallyDonny B. wrote:CORK (SFC v Donegal): A Quirke; R Carey, M Shields, E Cadogan; P Kissane, G Canty, N O’Leary; A O’Connor, A Walsh; F Goold, P Kelly, P Kerrigan; C O’Neill, D O’Connor, N Murphy.

Re: General GAA thread
Donegal seem to be trying to fool everyone by actually playing football (with kick passing and everything ). Cork have a lot of class from midfield onwards though.
Thankfully Sid it looks like you were wrong
