The hedgerows are heavy with blackberries, best year I have ever seen.

I made a load of jars of jam last week with the young lad, filled a bucket in about 30 minutes. Darina has a lovely recipe, 5 lbs of blackberries, 2 lbs of cooking apples and 2 bags of sugar. It's great.

I can confirm the above are most definitely free blackberries as opposed to expensive caviar!!
