IMO theyre stupid as no real analysis or insights or players saying anything worthwhile but Dennis Hickie really had a go at it and the bar room style post math interviews; BT just trying to turn rugby coverage into Top Gear #banter etc

I was wondering why I woke up the other morning to see FB statuses of people calling Hickie a legend, and they weren't written 8 years ago from the Municipal Stadium in Toulouse (how old does that make you feel? 8 focking years ago!!!). I'll have to listen to that later. The only problem with SC is Murhh's slobbery, pool --ball-in-mouth uniformed voice injecting his worthless opinions into a topic he knows nothing about, and the continued use of "I suppose" by McDevitt.

Cheer up Suisse.

You're in a country full of young ladies obsessed with aesthetics, plastic surgery and short-skirts all year round.

Could be worse.

I saw Nick Mullins (who drives me mental btw) ask what people thought of those in game interviews and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Now obviously people who follow that clown are more likely to give him good feedback but even so, a lot of people obviously like it.

without going too Alan Quinlan they probably appeal to the ticketmaster fans

Mullins is awful.

His commentary here about the kids is a perfect example. Cringe-worthy sh!t.

What really stands out there is how annoying it is that he's constantly talking over the ref!!

And it is left to Austin Healy to tell him what the referee said, because he wasn't listening!

The mid-game/half-time interviews are so bad. It's such gimmickery, they offer nothing in the way of insight. The lines of questioning are laughable and what are the coaches going to do other than offer platitudes?

When Munster were losing to Ospreys earlier this season they managed to get a mid-first-half interview with Mick O'Driscoll and they asked him this pearl: 'How important is it that Munster grow into this match?' Errr... I dunno, very important?

Anyone else think that group stage competition is too stiff with the new structure? Munster, Saracens and Clermont in one group is a bit silly. Plus my OCD nature means that I get annoyed that there are three runner-up qualifiers out of 5 pools.

A 16-team, 4-pool comp wouldn't realistically be feasible, but what about a 32-team, 8-pool system, with 10 Pro 12, 10 English, and 12 French teams? The new Challenge Cup is pretty uninspiring. There could be a round of 16, or just the group winners, and plate and bowl competitions for teams finishing 2nd and 3rd across the pools. It would be interesting to see anyway

Celtic unions suggested a 32 team tournament and were told no, half the English & french teams just want the money from Europe not to actually have to play in it

Only saw the first 20 at a distance. Was the first try not a knock on.
How did Burjizz go?
