Bus to Connacht game, 29th September
As some of you will have noticed, I've been getting quotes for buses to Galway for the away match against Connacht on Friday 29th Sep., returning to Dublin after the match that night.
If I'm going to do this, I want to have the booking made by this weekend, so can anyone who's interested please post here or PM me before Friday afternoon?
From the initial quotes I've got, it looks like this will work out at under €30 a head (as long as there are enough takers).

Methinks somebody is seeing what they want to see.

Sorry, would like to but I'll be out of the country.jedifart wrote:Not looking good for this so far... a whopping two interested people have been in touch! If I don't have satisfactory numbers by tomorrow, this won't be going ahead.
For anyone wondering what time the bus will be leaving Dublin(city centre), it will be 1.30 or thereabouts.
Good luck!

JF, I might be interested. I have transport to Galway and was planning a weekend in the West but my dilemma is I am supposed to be back in Kildare for 9.00am on the Saturday. I've explored different options for getting back on the Saturday which involve getting a train to Tullamore, which I understand is very much a course of last resort, so getting a bus back on Friday evening if the possibility of having a few pints in Galway before returning to Dublin is on the cards, is infinitely preferable.jedifart wrote:Looking slightly better now... 6 people interested. Still, if there aren't 8 or 9 more by tomorrow afternoon, this won't go ahead.
So could you count me in, for the return journey only. Happy to pay for both ways obviously and happy to pay even if ultimately I decide to stay in the West.
