Yes youre right it was the Lansdowne Bar....wixfjord wrote:You might be thinking of the Lasdowne Bar which was a pub on Bath Avenue but is now a gastropub called 'The Old Spot'. Ruddock & Furlong doing a Q&A in the Laighain Out Bar after the game so in case your son doesn't get to meet the world's best player, he'll get to meet the second best in the Laighain Out.Mountjoy wrote:Thats fantastic guys thank you. PM me if you don't get sorted, my terrace ST is available if you need it?suisse wrote:Wow. This game is pretty much sold out - just a few 75 euro tickets left. Does anyone here know of any tickets going that are a bit cheaper? Taking my brother to his first game for a long time. He lives in the Middle East but 75 is just a bit too steep. Thanks!
The odds are good but the goods are odd.
Re: Leinster v Ulster
Don't think I'd risk Ringrose and I'd say looking at the training pictures RK will play, but that'd be a similar side to what I'd go for, albeit with JGP and Adam Byrne starting.
Re: Leinster v Ulster
Aha thats great we will pop in there, depends if my son 13 has survived the 18 pints of guinness on the way!!Barry wrote:Ruddock & Furlong doing a Q&A in the Laighain Out Bar after the game so in case your son doesn't get to meet the world's best player, he'll get to meet the second best in the Laighain Out.Mountjoy wrote:Thats fantastic guys thank you. At least it is an early evening kick off

Okay - like the look of that, should be fun !! Looking forward to Frawley at 10, Deegan at 8 and big test for Ross and Mick in the Row.
Good to see JMC back too.
LPG to have a stormer and Noel Reid is going well. Should be interesting him and Frawley.
Resting the big un's for Toulouse and J10 still in therapy

Kinda surprised there's not more big uns all the same. Hope they're not rusty next week!Blueberry wrote:Okay - like the look of that, should be fun !! Looking forward to Frawley at 10, Deegan at 8 and big test for Ross and Mick in the Row.

Good to see the return of a few from injury.
Dont Panic!
Re: Leinster v Ulster
We've three guys back from injury and a second/third string team other than that besides Cronin. I'd say Leo et al are delighted to be so far ahead in the league that we can do what we want. Surprised Fardy isn't in there, he hasn't played a lot of rugby and these are the games we need him for. I wonder is Frawley in to give him a bit of experience before the 6N run of games. Strange on considering Byrne didn't play last week.
Really good to have McGrath & RK starting though, much needed boost to our squad ahead of Toulouse.

Re: Leinster v Ulster
Great to see Daly back. That Ulster back three is tiny and inexperienced, could really exploit them there.
Leavy injured? Even if he is, amazing to think that Penny justifies his selection in an interpro like this. Happy to see Deegan back starting as well, hope he delivers.
Anyone who gives away a stupid penalty should be hooked straight away, and I'm only half joking.

Re: Leinster v Ulster
Ulster team is very thin so if we can't do a job on this even with the 2/3's we have an issue. Predict bonus point Leinster win by circa 25-30 pts...........will be a long day for Ulster I suspect.

Re: Leinster v Ulster
With those line-ups this is almost like an A team inter-pro.
Exciting to see a young team but a bit of a shame too. I used to love the Stephenseses Day derby with Ulster - it was always a good ding-dong.
