I haven't watched the game back but I thought our set up was really weird for his first throw, it looked like the line wasn't actually straight. Were there others we messed up when he was on?wixfjord wrote: Tracy getting a little kick in the hole for throwing last week?

BB's throwing is hardly reliable, well it's reliably inconsistent..

Really happy with that team. If JGP really is fully fit then he's unlucky to miss out but apart from that I really like it, glad we get to see Fardy and Lowe again but at the same time we've freshened it up nicely. There's a lot more comfort in having Nick bench so I'm really happy to see him there.
Huge opportunity for Ross Byrne to get back in the reckoning for Japan. I'd say he's raring to go after not getting on last week and it's a great chance to face off against Joey, and given how long he's been out for I'd hope that Ross can take advantage of that.
Delighted for Josh that he's made it back, he really is the model pro and hope he's rewarded for working so hard and because he missed out last season.
If the forwards are fresh after last week then I'd back us to tear into Munster and really do a job on them. If not it'll be tricky but I'd like to see us use our bench early on anyway. As much as the battle up front is the key, I'm backing Ringrose to have a huge game after being quite poor last week, wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being MOTM.

Well Ross, this is why we backed you to be our Outhalf over Joey. Have at 'em.

A win tomorrow means a tough trip to Glasgow - who are schooling Ulster.
Good side Glasgow - great inventiveness and variation behind the scrum - something we
could have done with last week.

There's hardly much there that most teams don't do. There's plenty to taken the piss of about them but their completely normal season ticket package isn't one of them.alanair wrote:a bit off-track here... but if you ever wondered about crowd size @ Thomond Matches... This is information on their Season ticket...
Having a Season Ticket entitles the holder to the following:
• Highest level of discount.
• Kids go free!*
• Transfer the tickets you can’t use to a friend.
• Access to best location within Thomond Park and Irish Independent Park.
• Access to all three home Champions Cup pool games.
• Entitlement to purchase the same seat/terrace for a home Champions Cup quarter-final (if we reach that stage of the competition).
• Access to all home PRO14 games in Thomond Park and/or Irish Independent Park.
• Entitlement to purchase tickets for away games**.
• Entitlement to a discount on additional tickets and reduced booking fee.
And................................
* All full MRSC members can bring up to two juniors for FREE to all PRO14 games (excluding Leinster, subject to availability).
No wonder they're in debt and not making much progress on that score....

Sometimes it's a tough sell. Sometimes they'd wished they had built a bigger stadium.
Pro-Rugby is a hard business to make a profit out of. Munster need a home euro QF minimum every season and hopefully a Pro14 home (interprovincial) semi.

Match Preview
Well I suppose we had to lose an European final eventually.
Saracens deserved to win the match but it wasn't an inevitable a win as some in the media reported afterwards. There is a tendency towards self-flagellation and despondency in the Irish sports media which especially comes to fore when Irish teams lose to big English packs. "They're just too big, how can us puny Irish even hope to compete?" is the general gist of it." And yet Leinster did compete, taking the lead and keeping Saracens scoreless for most of the first half.

Don't think VG sees 6 and 7 operating the way we do.
Flanker is CJs best position - this is a shrewd selection.
Over to POM, his workload has been reduced again?
You'd wonder why.

Yessssssss! I'm away and following the match by Live blog on dodgy WiFi. Sounds like JvdF bossed that game. Didn't see Earls' name mentioned once, he's usually good against us, was he fit?

And with that, a mighty cheer went up from the heroes of Munster. They had banished the awful Pro 14 forever, because it was haunted.

Gordon Darcy is an awful Co commentator especially for the other side. He's practically giggling with delight doing his analysis when his side's on top.
I thought the same last year when he was doing the job for ITV for the grand slam game.
