u13 cup is for Holy Ghost schools - Blackrock (Willow Park), Michael's, Mary's, Templeogue, Rockwell.

willow park and Blackrock submit a team each and as far as I know Rockwell don’t compete

interesting to see that Sean Skehan who led Glenstal abbey to a munster senior cup win is taking over at Terenure College as DOR.

Blackrock wouldn't submit a team. Their first year is second year which is u15s so even allowing for the Cup name not changing to reflect that it's first year which is now u14 I don't see them doing that

They did when we played - that was 1987 though o things may have changed and under 15s is 3rd year, or has that changed now?

Third year is u16s. Changed a good few years back now. As I said the cup should really be called the u14 Cup now but I guess just kept the name u13 because I think it's on the trophy.

Yeah, the last year they submitted separate teams was 2005. The Rock team was always composed of 'underage' second years.

Michaels started the season with a win over Castleknock 37-14

JCT defeated Glenstal 73-0.
