On a side note, what's with the 'priority boarding' for Season ticket holder? Was that something that was needed?

Where gangs of ST holder left queuing for hours in the rain and no one told me about it?

There are plenty of things that they could offer ST holders (upgrading to the covered stand vacant seats on rainy nights, for instance) but I never thought priority access was something that was required.

Yeah, don't really get the need for it. Aren't season-ticket holders likely to make up the majority of the crowd at RDS games anyway?

Not a comment on the game per se, but was anyone watching a recording on TV? My recording was unwatchable and just want to check if it was the signal or my skybox.

Exactly! I thought it very strange. They has extra people at the gate directing ST holders into the correct queue and at that time (about 50 mins before kick-off) there was only about 3 people there.

I mean if they want to...... fair enough!. Just struggling to see the need.

Thank you for that public service announcement!

After over a decade of reading the forum I finally registered an account just so I could “add a foe.”

Good performance last night in miserable conditions...looked across into the north stand at one stage and thought the people who braved it in there deserved a mention from the stadium announcer!!!!

On the game...firstly the dragons are woeful
Thought Baird was very good, physical, athletic and great skill set but people on here comparing him to JR need to relax....
Front row did well, Bent on course for top try scorers
Dev seemed back to himself, captaincy maybe??
Doris decent, some big hits
Penney I thought was outstanding, beautiful footballer who I reckon could be in line for the 23 euro squad
Deegan was ok, hasn’t done enough last couple of games for me

I like the way Byrne the younger attack’s the line
JGP was sloppy for me, poor kicks and sloppy passing
Lowe was decent and finished well

Next week will be a far bigger test with a few internationals integrated back I reckon

Leavy and Conan are long term injured. There are 2 returning backrows from the RWC.

That leaves 2 from the 3 starting backrow last night (or 1 if Fardy plays there).

An 8 is needed so Deegan/Doris gets a call unless Ruddock moves there.

Penny is then in a decent position to make the bench, not guaranteed as Ruddock can cover 7.

Is posters are unable to stop mentioning their alma mater when posting, or try to bring every conversation around to one about where players went to school, they'll face a spell on the sidelines!

I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

Doubt Newpark Comprehensive ever had a Leinster player in their history, to be honest.

Not usually a huge fan of Pundit Arena, but this is a really good read on Harry Byrne's performance the other night:

The move from the scrum between him, JGP and COB was a beauty.

Harry's first start was very impressive and the MOTM award fully deserved. I was particularly pleased to see how good his passing was - crisp and exactly on the money practically every time!!! As I said before, IMO he's the total package.
