On a lighter note, there was much cheering and rejoicing amongst the rugby fraternity of Sutton and Howth at Jack Aungier's fine cameo in the final throes of the slugfest in Limerick.

The odds are good but the goods are odd.

McCarthy left because he PCP became IQthis season. That meant his career development would effectively stall as there’s be no opening for him with no need to pick 2 from 3 of PCP, Lowe and Fardy. He was as right too, as there was a clear opening for a SH with Williams out the door.

OTT has also been seen shaking hands with other forum members too, in the middle of a competitive debate I might add!! A tidy haircut though is his saving grace.Logorrhea wrote:Apparently you have to answer absolutely every point he makes, not just the ones of interest. There was discussion about it at the time, the move was announced over a year ago, people have decided to back the players who are in our squad not the ones who play for Munster. Oh the outrage.
You probably have a long history of stealing stationary too.

The disappearance of backrower8 and his collection of privare school educated rugger bugger chums has coincided with the appearance of a new poster called LPAC, a former St Michaels boy on shelbyville. LPAC, though he claims to be a Leinster fan, would appear to be telling pork pies about his education as he does not appear to be able to spell Will Connors name or look it up on the internet to check it.

I don't know if has been mentioned here (I can't be arsed wading through a bunch of grown adults arguing about their schools), but a couple of the media pieces have mentioned it and its a good point, about how - especially into the wind when you want to punch the ball lower and harder than usual - Devin Toner attempting to get the blockdown meant that McCarthy had to elevate his kicks to a level where they were subject to the wind. Great tactical play from Leinster and great discipline from Dev to make sure he was in position every time to make an already difficult kick even harder. Poor recognition of this by Munster and they kind of left their scrumhalf swinging in the wind, as it were.

I can confirm that myself myself and backrower8 are not the same person, although we do share common interests by the looks of it

Excellent stats Xanthippe. Can we have more posts like this rather than the ultra-boring "where did you go to schoole sh!te".Xanthippe wrote:Leinster v Munster this decade

Joey's last 2 games for Munster were losses to Leinster.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

It couldn't be more obvious that they're the same person and I can't understand why anyone would reply to him.
