Gutted Mark Hernan is injured, let’s hope it’s nothing too serious

Not a fan of McKee, rather Sheehan started if Stewart isn't 100%
SOB at 7 is a risk, but okay with it as want to see more of Soroka.
Other than that team as expected.

I agree, think Sheehan is an overall better player and great to see Soroka starting, he was fantastic playing with Belvedere College last yearmildlyinterested wrote:Not a fan of McKee, rather Sheehan started if Stewart isn't 100%

He had an illness so maybe couldn't train much. He looks a highly promising talent though. It's sometimes hard to tell with hookers and they mature later than usual but he ticks most boxes already, from what I've seen in the 2 games. His throwing in difficult conditions was impressive even if he has a tall pack to aim at.

Agree re Sheehan v McKee. Stewart has been ecellent and will be badly missed as thrower and ball-carrier.mildlyinterested wrote:Not a fan of McKee, rather Sheehan started if Stewart isn't 100%

This is the best performance by a 20's/21's Irish team that I've ever seen.
The pack has been out of this world. Backs all looking really dangerous too and we're mixing it up brilliantly. That offload...wow

And it's gotten even better since my last post. This is phenomenal stuff. A bonus point wrapped up by HT away to England...
The carrying by the forwards is exceptional. Always running onto it and such great fight in contact. Finlay picking his options nicely and the backs just attacking the space and making great decisions so as to not take too much out of the ball. A really special performance.

I was planning on going to this but got sent on a last minute work trip abroad. Gutted.

14-29 now. England looking far more physical in the second half. Their number 8 has let three balls go through him at the back of the scrum. Huge man but brutal rugby player.

Another phenomenal try for Ireland. Ireland have incredible athletes throughout the side but they're clearly very well drilled too, always making good decisions.

Re: Ireland u20 2020
This ref is always terrible. We're no angels and have got away with not rolling away a lot but England are constantly clearing out well past the ball and entering the ruck from all sorts of angles. He just told England they had advantage for a knock on but it turned out to be a penalty for a deliberate one.
SOB 4.0 really reminds me of Leavy when he carries and secures ball.
We really need to slow this down and start making kicks. 21-34 now.
